SPOT COLOUR STICKERS - CUSTOM PRINTED

High impact spot colour stickers - Please phone 01347 824450 to order

Spot colour stickers are made using printing methods that produce dense, opaque colours. The colour finish is more solid than those produced by 'full colour' CMYK digital printing.

Typically, we screen print spot colour stickers for long-run production jobs and thermal print when the job is relatively small

Spot Colour Stickers - More Information

Options and technical info

Spot colour printing cannot be used when the sticker design contains gradients, shading and photographic graphics - for this type of artwork, digital process printing is more suitable. There are also particular artwork requirements for spot colour stickers, the most important being that the design must be in vector format (using vector programs such as Adobe Illustrator).

We use spot colour printing producing pantone reference colours, metallic, fluorescent and other specialist colours. However, it is not limited to specialist stickers since we have a wide range of more common spot colours that we can use to print stickers and labels.

Like all of our custom stickers, spot colour stickers can be produced using removable or permament adhesive vinyl, and can be cut to any shape, printed in any quantity, and made to any size.

It is worth noting:
1. Spot colours are generally more solid (opaque) than those of full colour stickers
2. Spot colour vinyl stickers are printed on quality self-adhesive vinyl and are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use
3. Spot colour stickers are not suitable for designs containing gradients or complex photo quality graphics
4. Choose from a range of materials including permanent s/a vinyl, removable s/a vinyl and static cling pvc vinyl.
5. Our spot colour vinyl stickers are durable and weatherproof (except static cling)
6. UV stable printing - meaning these stickers will last for years.

Artwork

Spot colour stickers usually requires 'vector' artwork files and should not contain shading or gradients.

Once you have agreed your order with us, you can use our built in File Uploader to send us your artwork file(s).

Once we receive your artwork we will send you back a digital proof. This allows you to check that we have received and correctly understood your design before we print your stickers.

We will not print your stickers before you have 'signed off' on your digital proof.
